central location spacious room working air conditioning heated towel rail
i found the location excellent, right in the heart of everything. the room i had was recently refurbished and quite spacious. the air conditioning worked well, but i also appreciated the option to open a window. the bathroom featured a heated towel rail and a good shower over the bath.
the wifi connection in my room was occasionally unreliable, requiring frequent logins.

the reception staff were helpful and were available 24/7. they quickly addressed my check-in needs and offered directions to nearby attractions, and i appreciated their friendly demeanor. the service was great.

a mixed experience
subpar service dark lighting
The bar service was subpar. the barman seemed disinterested and poured my pint incorrectly. also, the early last call was inconvenient. I wanted another drink. finally, the energy-efficient lighting in the hallways was too dark. I found it uncomfortable walking to my room at night.

I booked underground parking. Access from the car park to reception was level. checking in was straightforward. i found the hotel clean and tidy. It looks recently painted. breakfast offered a wide selection, including both continental and cooked options, in a modern conservatory room.
the thermostat in my room showed 17 degrees, but it became very warm during the night.

i booked a standard room and i got a upgrade. the reception staff were very helpful and friendly to me. the room was super clean. the shower, wow. breakfast was nice and it has a good choice of cooked breakfast or continental.
there was a smear on the toilet seat but they apologized for the inconvenience. no further help was provided though. it wasn't great.

i liked the size of the room as it felt spacious and airy. elemis products were supplied in the bathroom. the blackout curtains were effective for keeping the light out and i slept well.

the location is close to many amazing places for me to eat. it is also only three stops on the tram from the train station , made it convenient. the hotel is in the town center for easy access.

Mixed Experience with Room Issues
inconsistent temperature low water pressure
The air conditioning struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, resulting in an uncomfortably cold room (it just blasted cold air). One of the elevators was out of service , I had to use the stairs, and waiting for the other one took longer than expected. Finally, the water pressure on the upper floors was quite low, so showering was a test of patience. I definitely had higher expectations.

Fantastic City Stay!
unbeatable location tram stop quick stroll
The location was unbeatable! The tram stop being so close made getting around easy. I found the walk to the Market Square very quick. It was a lovely five-minute stroll.
The lobby seemed quite small. The bar area also felt limited in space. These are minor things.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They offered assistance with directions and local information. Their positive attitude really enhanced the experience. I appreciated their attention to detail.
