I booked underground parking. Access from the car park to reception was level. checking in was straightforward. i found the hotel clean and tidy. It looks recently painted. breakfast offered a wide selection, including both continental and cooked options, in a modern conservatory room.
the thermostat in my room showed 17 degrees, but it became very warm during the night.

i booked a standard room and i got a upgrade. the reception staff were very helpful and friendly to me. the room was super clean. the shower, wow. breakfast was nice and it has a good choice of cooked breakfast or continental.
there was a smear on the toilet seat but they apologized for the inconvenience. no further help was provided though. it wasn't great.

i liked the size of the room as it felt spacious and airy. elemis products were supplied in the bathroom. the blackout curtains were effective for keeping the light out and i slept well.

the location is close to many amazing places for me to eat. it is also only three stops on the tram from the train station which made it convenient. the hotel is in the town center for easy access.

Mixed Experience with Room Issues
inconsistent temperaturelow water pressure
The air conditioning struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, resulting in an uncomfortably cold room (it just blasted cold air). Finally, the water pressure on the upper floors was quite low, so showering was a test of patience. I definitely had higher expectations.

The location was unbeatable! The tram stop being so close made getting around easy. I found the walk to the Market Square very quick. It was a lovely five-minute stroll.
The lobby seemed quite small. The bar area also felt limited in space. These are minor things.
